Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus seeks a Hospice Physician Account Executive to grow admissions within physician practices, opening new accounts and expanding referrals. You will build relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and office staff, and educate teams on how hospice fits into patient care.

The role requires a hunter mindset, excellence in prospecting, and the ability to manage a dynamic pipeline while providing exceptional patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• 5+ years outside sales experience; healthcare sales preferred.
• Proven hunter with cold outreach and new account development.
• Strong CRM and account management skills.
• Existing relationships with physician practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow hospice admissions by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Prospect daily to access physicians and key decision-makers.
• Secure referrals and collaborate with operations to admit eligible patients.
• Meet and exceed weekly performance goals for activations and referrals.
• Build trust-based relationships with physicians and practice staff.
• Provide timely, responsive support around schedules and patient needs.
• Capture feedback from referral sources and relay insights to the team.
• Represent Compassus at medical conferences to communicate value.
• Coordinate with Hospice Care Consultants for seamless patient transitions.
• Adapt to changes in priorities and market dynamics as needed.
