Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Physician Account Executive to grow admissions by developing deep relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and practice managers. You will prospect daily, open new accounts, and deepen referrals to meet admissions targets while coordinating with operations to ensure timely patient care.

The role emphasizes hunter sales, consultative engagement, and flexibility to work with physician offices and facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years outside sales experience in healthcare or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals with cold outreach.

Responsibilities

• Grow admissions within a defined physician book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Prospect daily through calls, meetings, lunches, and in-services to access physicians and staff.
• Secure referrals and partner with operations to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Maintain relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and practice managers using a consultative approach.
