Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations to lead patient care delivery across programs with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and fiscal stewardship. You will supervise Hospice Directors of Clinical Services, drive strategic initiatives, and partner with executives to optimize outcomes across our hospice portfolio.

The role requires RN licensure, leadership experience in hospice, and willingness to travel nationally up to 50% to support operations and quality

Qualifications

RN license in good standing and CPR certification preferred.
2–3 years of leadership and nursing experience in hospice or healthcare preferred.
Wamiliar with Medicare Hospice Regulations and Standards of Care.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day patient and family care services and ensure high care quality and documentation.
Maintain onsite visits weekly and monthly validation reports.
Manage program resources including pharmacy, DME, supplies, mileage and labor.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
Coordinate staff orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor staffing levels to meet patient needs and budget considerations.
Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate program needs and outcomes.
