Compassus seeks a Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations to lead patient care delivery across multiple programs, ensuring high-quality services, regulatory compliance, and fiscal stewardship. The role drives staffing, budgeting, and vendor relations while upholding Compassus values and Pillars of Success.

The executive will coordinate with regional leaders to optimize performance, mentor staff, and promote a culture of excellence in a dynamic national hospice network.

Qualifications

• Nurse leader with responsibility for budgeting, staffing and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to interpret Medicare/Regulatory requirements and apply them across multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel 50% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient care operations across hospice programs.
• Ensure adherence to Conditions of Participation and Standards of Care.
• Manage staffing, onboarding, supervision, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to meet budget, quality and vendor relations.
