Compassus seeks a Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations to lead clinical services across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship. Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of leadership and nursing experience in hospice or healthcare strongly preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of employment, CPR certification preferred.
• Autonomy, strong communication, and clinical governance skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains day-to-day operations for patient/family care services and ensures high-quality care.
• Oversees staffing, budgeting, and resource utilization to meet service needs.
• Ensures compliance with Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation and other regulations.
• Collaborates with Hospice Directors of Clinical Services and Regional VP to communicate needs and outcomes.
• Monitors staff orientation and education, and ensures performance standards are met.
