Job summary

Compassus seeks a Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations to lead patient care across locations, upholding the 6 Pillars of Success and Compassus values. This role directs planning, staffing, and budgeting to ensure high-quality hospice services aligned with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include supervising Directors of Clinical Services, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and fostering collaboration with regional leadership. Travel up to 50% nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in state of employment; CPR certification preferred.
• Leadership experience in hospice or healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full responsibility for day-to-day functions related to patient/family care services and related costs.
• Oversees staffing to meet patient/family service needs.
• Ensures compliance with Medicare/State hospice regulations and company policies.
• Leads budget planning and programmatic reporting with Regional VP.
• Coordinates with Directors of Clinical Services and vendors to ensure quality outcomes and vendor relationships.
• Provides supervision, coaching, and development for Hospice Directors of Clinical Services.
