Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations (Hospice Administrator) to lead clinical operations across designated areas. You will model Compassus values, promote high-quality patient care, and drive budget, staffing, and vendor management in alignment with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license is highly preferred but not required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 2–3 years of leadership and nursing experience in hospice or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient/family care services and documentation to ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation and state standards.
• Manage budget, staffing, and vendor relationships across the area.
• Collaborate with Regional VP and Hospice Directors of Clinical Services to meet goals and drive performance.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach Hospice Directors of Clinical Services; monitor performance and development.
