Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and referral sources, delivering compassionate care aligned with our Pillars of Success.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and 5+ years of sales experience, CRM skills, resilience, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations to help patients access high-quality hospice care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top-performing sales professionals who understand hospice care are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians and administrators and collaborate with operations to ensure rapid admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and maintain productivity growth.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families and handle emotional situations professionally.
• Be available outside standard hours to ensure timely patient support.
• Solicit feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations for improvement.
• Adapt to changing business priorities and market dynamics as needed.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners about hospice care.
