Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow market share by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones, while securing referrals from physicians and hospital staff to rapidly admit eligible patients.

You will meet weekly goals, cultivate trusted referral relationships, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. The role requires resilience for emotionally challenging conversations and may require evening or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five+ years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing accounts to grow market share.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and coordinate with operations to admit eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and drive productivity.
• Build trusted relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during emotional times; be available outside standard hours when needed.
