Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support for their families during end-of-life care in Monongahela, PA. You will work with a hospice care team to ensure respectful, individualized care aligned with the care plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meals, homemaking, reporting changes, and following written instructions from the nurse. A valid CNA certification and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Current state CNA certification/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with daily living activities and promotes comfort and dignity.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding and homemaking.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to nurse.
• Assists with prescribed exercises and follows plan of care.
• Performs simple urine tests and other routine tasks as assigned.
