Job summary

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a nurse assistant (CNA) as per state certification/registration requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics in performing personal and supportive care.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental tasks as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follows written instructions for personal care as per care plan.
