UnitedHealth Group is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support for families during end-of-life care. You will work with the hospice care team to ensure respectful, individualized care in line with the plan of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, light homemaking, and documenting patient changes. A valid CNA certification and CPR are required, with a valid driver's license and reliable

Formación

• Current state CNA certification or registration as per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during assistance with ambulation, transfers, ROM, positioning, and housekeeping.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental tasks as assigned.
• Observes and documents changes in patient status and reports to the nurse when needed.
• Follows written care instructions prepared by a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests (sugar, acetone, albumin).
• Other duties as assigned.
