Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Account Executive to drive hospice sales by developing strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and community partners in the South/Southwest Chicagoland area. This role focuses on educating referrers about hospice benefits, coordinating with Admissions and Marketing, and ensuring timely, compassionate patient transitions into care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years in home health, healthcare sales, or hospice sales.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and community organizations through in-person visits and educational conversations.
• Drive hospice sales by nurturing current relationships, identifying referral opportunities and increasing program awareness.
• Conduct presentations and in-services to educate partners on hospice benefits and eligibility.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing to develop community outreach plans that reflect the mission of honoring life and offering hope.
• Partner with clinical staff to ensure referrals transition smoothly into care while prioritizing patient comfort and dignity.
• Uphold ongoing commitments to quality, ethics, and confidentiality in all aspects of work.
