Compassus in Colorado Springs is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to grow hospice admissions by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, identifying eligible patients, and ensuring rapid admissions with compassion and professionalism.

The role requires 5+ years in hospice or healthcare sales, excellent CRM skills, and a patient-first mindset to meet growth goals in a sensitive care environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Customer relationship management skills that drive growth.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with the operations team to ensure all clinically-eligible patients are rapidly admitted.
• Take full ownership of meeting or exceeding weekly performance goals.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families, and maintain resilience in emotional environments.
• Be flexible to work outside standard hours to support patients in need.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners to improve understanding of hospice care.
