Zusammenfassung

Affinity Hospice Management LLC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform personal care tasks and support the patient’s plan of care to promote comfort and quality of life in a hospice setting.

You will document observations, report changes to the RN Case Manager, and assist with activities of daily living. A valid CNA license, driving capability, and full vaccination are required.

Qualifikationen

• Must complete state-approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent and be licensed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Understand hospice philosophy and provide compassionate terminal illness care.
• Prior hospice/long-term care exposure preferred (1 year).
• Basic computer skills to document in EMR.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle in good working order.
• Must be fully vaccinated.

Aufgaben

• Perform personal care tasks as assigned promptly.
• Communicate with patient and family respectfully while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Provide baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Assist in dressing, undressing, and feeding as assigned.
• Provide skin care to prevent tissue breakdown and report changes to RN.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as directed by the nurse.
• Assist with self-administered medications as allowed by state regulations.
• Assist with bedpans, urinals, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintain clean and orderly living area and adhere to care procedures.
