Job summary

Operation HOPE is seeking a dedicated Financial Wellbeing Coach – Homeownership to guide clients through the homebuying journey. You will provide one-on-one coaching, educate clients on HUD programs such as FHA loans and down payment assistance, and help develop personalized action plans focused on budgeting and savings.

Virtual or in-person workshops will be offered to support clients in achieving their financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of related experience as required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• HUD certification or pass HUD Certified Counselor exam within 90 days.
• Experience in homeownership counseling or related roles.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within designated market area with own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for homeownership assistance.
• Educate clients on HUD programs, including FHA loans and down payment assistance.
• Develop personalized action plans based on client needs and circumstances.
• Deliver group and individual workshops, virtual or in-person.
• Maintain accurate records per HUD guidelines and document activities in CRM Dynamics.
• Build relationships with Bank Partners and community organizations for referrals.
• Track client progress toward financial goals.
