Job summary

Operation HOPE in Memphis, TN seeks a Financial Wellbeing Coach – Homeownership to guide clients through the homeownership journey, focusing on HUD guidelines and accurate data entry in our CRM/Dynamics system.

You will deliver HUD-informed education on FHA loans, down payment assistance, and budgeting, while building relationships with banks and community partners to connect clients with resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 2+ years related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• HUD certification or ability to pass HUD Counselor exam within 90 days.
• Experience in homeownership counseling or related roles.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for homeownership guidance.
• Provide HUD program information, FHA loan details, and down payment assistance.
• Develop personalized action plans and educate on budgeting and savings.
