Job summary

Operation HOPE, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Financial Wellbeing Coach focused on homeownership. You will provide personalized counseling, guide clients through HUD programs, and ensure data entry aligns with HUD guidelines.

You will also educate on budgeting, credit management, and resources while building partnerships with banks and community organizations. The role involves enrolling clients in a CRM, scheduling sessions via Zoom or in person, and delivering both virtual and in-person

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in related field required.
• HUD certification required or ability to pass HUD Counselor exam within 90 days.
• Experience in homeownership counseling or related roles.
• Strong presentation and group recruitment skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel within the designated market area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for homeownership.
• Educate clients on HUD programs, FHA loans, and down payment assistance.
• Develop personalized action plans and budgeting guidance.
• Enroll clients into CRM Dynamics and monitor progress.
• Build relationships with bank partners and community organizations.
• Deliver virtual and in-person workshops as requested.
• Maintain accurate records following HUD guidelines.
