Job summary

Operation HOPE is hiring a Bilingual Homeownership Financial Wellbeing Coach to guide clients through the homeownership journey. The role emphasizes HUD-compliant data entry, documentation, and coordination with bank partners and community organizations.

Responsibilities include individual counseling, budgeting guidance, and referrals to HOPE and partner resources. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to engage diverse communities and supporters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Housing, Counseling, or related field or 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of personal finance, budgeting, debt management, and savings strategies.
• HUD certification or ability to pass HUD Counselor exam within 90 days.
• Experience in homeownership counseling or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients seeking homeownership assistance.
• Provide information on HUD programs, FHA loans, down payment assistance, and homeownership education.
• Develop personalized action plans based on client needs.
• Educate clients on budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and related topics.
• Enroll clients into the CRM system and maintain client records per HUD guidelines.
• Schedule regular sessions via Zoom, phone, and in-person appointments.
• Monitor progress toward financial goals using Dynamics CRM.
• Connect clients with resources and community partners and promote HOPE solutions.
