Job summary

Operation HOPE is seeking a Financial Wellbeing Coach – Homeownership to guide clients through the homeownership journey, ensuring HUD guidelines are followed and data is accurately entered in the CRM. The role blends counseling, education, and relationship-building with bank partners and community organizations.

You will deliver both virtual and in-person workshops, develop personalized action plans, and monitor client progress toward financial goals using Dynamics CRM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Housing, Counseling, or related field (or equivalent 2+ years of related experience).
• HUD Certified Counselor or ability to pass HUD exam within 90 days.
• Experience in homeownership counseling or related roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for group and individual sessions.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients seeking homeownership assistance.
• Provide information and guidance on HUD programs (FHA loans, down payment assistance, etc.).
• Develop personalized action plans based on client needs.
• Educate clients on budgeting, debt management, savings, and related topics.
• Enroll clients into the CRM and utilize Dynamics for progress tracking.
