Job summary

Clayton Retail is hiring a Retail Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating new homes’ construction. You’ll build relationships, demonstrate models, set visits, and follow up with buyers using our CRM.

Strong communication, organization, and Saturday availability are required, with licensing and compliance responsibilities. The role offers a $50k base salary plus a lucrative commission plan and a path to uncapped earnings within a supportive,

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons
• Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs.)
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan and options.
• Coordinate the construction process for home buyers.
• Set appointments and convert calls and web leads to visits.
• Demonstrate home features and benefits to buyers to create added value.
• Maintain customer files and follow up with prospective buyers using the CRM.
• Participate in sales meetings, training opportunities and company events.
