Job summary

Clayton Retail is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through floor plans, options, and the construction process, delivering a world class home buying experience. You will present models, demonstrate features, and coordinate showroom visits.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, sales skills, and ongoing training within a collaborative team. Full-time with benefits and performance-based commission, in a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.
• Set appointments and convert ad calls and web leads to showroom visits.
• Demonstrate features and benefits of homes to potential buyers.
• Merchandise models and maintain appearance of the homes.
• Provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers using the CRM system.
• Participate in sales meetings, training opportunities and other company functions.
• Work in a team environment and assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
