Job summary

Lincare in Hankinson, ND seeks a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing team. You will set up and educate patients on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP units, ventilators, and oxygen systems.

You will inspect equipment, review prescriptions, maintain records, and stay current with respiratory homecare techniques. On-call duties after hours and weekends may be required depending on center size.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP units, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen systems.
• Educate patients and train them on proper usage of prescribed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records in accordance with standards.
• Remain current with respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• On-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency depends on center size.
