Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team in Hankinson, ND. You will set up home medical equipment, including ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP units, and educate patients on proper usage of prescribed devices.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing safety checks, reviewing patient information to determine suitable treatment, maintaining accurate records, and staying current with pulmonary care practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete, organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• On-call after hours and weekends as needed.
