Job summary

Lincare Holdings in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing field team. You will set up home medical equipment, including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, and oxygen devices, and educate patients on proper use according to physician orders.

You will inspect and test equipment, maintain patient records, and stay current with respiratory therapy practices. You will drive to patient locations, assist after-hours as needed, and ensure safe, compliant care.

Qualifications

• CRTs or RRTs licensed and in good standing where required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with MS Office applications.
• Valid driver's license with reliable personal vehicle for patient visits; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate patient records per accreditation standards.
• Stay current on pulmonary function and rehab concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency varies by center size.
