Job summary

Lincare Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team in Sioux Falls. The role focuses on setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP units and ventilators, and educating patients on proper usage.

You will inspect and adjust equipment, review prescriptions, maintain patient records, and stay current with respiratory care concepts. On-call responsibilities after hours and weekends vary by center size.

Qualifications

• Must hold CRT or RRT certification.
• State or national licensing as applicable.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Own vehicle required to visit patients.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records per accreditation standards.
• Stay current on pulmonary care techniques and respiratory therapy concepts.
• On-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency varies by center size.
