Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our team. You will set up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators, and educate patients on proper usage.

You will inspect and test equipment, review patient information, and maintain accurate records while staying current with respiratory care techniques. On-call work after hours and weekends may be required based on center size.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders
• Maintain complete, organized patient records compliant with accreditation standards
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts
• Be available for on-call after hours and weekends as needed
• Frequency is determined by center size and staffing levels
