Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, maintaining patient records, and staying current with pulmonary rehabilitation concepts. On-call work after hours/weekends may be required, depending on center size.

Qualifications

• CRTs/RRTs qualification recognized; state license required where applicable.
• Must remain certified, registered or licensed by state/national board.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle for patient visits; mileage reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators).
• Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review patient info to determine treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain organized patient records compliant with accreditation.
• Stay current on pulmonary rehab techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; schedule depends on center.
