Job summary

Lincare seeks a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage.

Duties include equipment testing, patient record maintenance, and staying updated on respiratory therapy practices. -qualified candidates must hold relevant respiratory licensure and ensure compliance with state/national boards.

Qualifications

• CRTs/RRTs eligible as per state licensure
• RNs, LPNs, LVNs, paramedics, EMTs may also qualify
• Active license by state/national board governing practice

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment for safe operation
• Review prescriptions and patient info to determine treatment, per physician orders
• Maintain patient records in compliance with accreditation standards
• Stay current on pulmonary rehab techniques and concepts
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed (frequency determined by center size)
