Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, and more, and educating patients on proper usage.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, maintaining records, and on-call coverage as required. Applicants must hold applicable state licenses, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable visiting patients in their homes across the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Must maintain state/national license or certification
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to travel to patient homes across territory
• Computer literacy and basic software proficiency

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers)
• Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure safety and proper function
• Review prescriptions and patient data to determine treatment administration
• Maintain accurate patient records per accreditation standards
• Attend to after-hours on-call duties as needed
