Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our expanding team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, inspection, and maintenance, record-keeping, and staying current with pulmonary rehabilitation concepts. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• CRTs/RRTs qualified for this position, per state regulations.
• Active license required by state/national board where applicable.
• Reliable personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and auto insurance in residence state.

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Stay updated on pulmonary rehab techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
