Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to join our home healthcare team. Responsibilities include delivering, setting up, and maintaining medical equipment and supplies, and training patients and caregivers on proper use.

The role also covers customer service duties in person and by phone, with on-call travel to patient homes as needed and coordination with insurers to verify coverage. Strong multitasking and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written.
• Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual).
• Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information.
• Multi-task along with attention to detail.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment at patient homes.
• Provide patient/caregiver instruction on proper use.
• Coordinate verification of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
• Handle intake: phone, faxes, data input into IMBS, tickets, charts.
• Prepare complete and accurate files for Billing Department and route sheets.
