Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to handle delivery, set-up, maintenance of medical equipment, oxygen and supplies, and to provide instruction to patients and caregivers. The role includes answering phones and assisting referrals, with on-call work as needed.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel to patient homes, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines. Training and support are provided as part of a patient-centric team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• Background check and drug screen as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, sets up and maintains equipment at the delivery address using company/personal vehicle.
• Educates the patient and/or caregiver on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinates verification of insurance coverage information (Medicare/Medicaid/Private).
• Performs on-call assignments as needed and handles, paperwork and forms.
• Maintains and updates patient records and logs.
