Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. seeks a Customer Service Technician to deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies, and to instruct patients and caregivers on proper use. The role also provides customer service over the phone and in person to patients and referral sources.

The position requires travel to patient homes, on-call availability, and strong adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; background checks and drug screen as applicable.
• Experience in healthcare or equipment delivery is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and maintain medical equipment and supplies at patient homes.
• Provide patient and caregiver instruction on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Answer phones and assist referral sources with information and scheduling.
• Coordinate with insurance for coverage information and documentation.
