Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to support the delivery, setup, and maintenance of medical equipment, oxygen and supplies, and to instruct patients and caregivers on proper use.

The role includes providing customer service over the phone and in person to patients and referral sources. Travel to patients' homes is required using a company or personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with medical equipment is preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to company policies and PPE requirements.
• Delivers, sets up, and maintains equipment at delivery address.
• Coordinates verification of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
• Educates patients/caregivers on safe use of equipment.
• Maintains the company vehicle and reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
