Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the delivery, setup and maintenance of medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies, and for instructing patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.

You will also provide customer service for patients and referral sources in person and by phone. Travel to patient homes is required, using a company or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and maintain medical equipment and supplies at patient homes.
• Provide patient/caregiver instruction on proper use and maintenance.
• Offer customer service to patients and referral sources, over the phone and in person.
• Coordinate deliveries and verify insurance information as needed.
• Maintain vehicle and paperwork related to deliveries and service visits.
