Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York invites a Home Lending Assistant to join Chase Home Lending and support customers through the loan lifecycle, applying knowledge of home lending products to ensure a smooth process.

You will work with Home Lending Advisors to handle inquiries, collect documents, discuss price and product options, and coordinate submissions while staying compliant.

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential to help drive customer satisfaction and production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
A minimum of four years' work experience in mortgage loan processing.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

Utilize understanding of the home loan process to take initial inquiry calls for prequalification and collect applications.
Discuss products and pricing at request of Home Lending Advisors.
Review complex files to identify potential problems before submission to processing.
Manage pipeline and provide status updates to borrowers, builders, and advisors.
Coordinate submissions between advisors, branch, processing center, and realtors to enable production.
