Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Home Lending Assistant to support Home Lending Advisors in guiding clients through the loan process and delivering a superior customer experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving to ensure timely prequalification, application intake, and documentation collection. You will work closely with Realtors, builders, and branch teams to optimize submissions, keep borrowers informed, and help drive healthy loan production while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• A minimum of four years’ work experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Intermediate computer skills (familiar with MS Office products or similar software).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written/oral communication.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand.

Responsibilities

• Take initial inquiries for prequalification and assist in completing applications.
• Discuss products and pricing with Home Lending Advisors or when requested.
• Review complex files to identify potential problems and propose solutions with Advisors.
• Manage pipeline and provide updates on status to borrowers, builders, and Advisors.
• Coordinate with Realtors and builders to submissions and closings to support Advisors’ business.
• Coordinate marketing and staffing for Realtor/builder events and open houses.
• Assist Advisors in setting annual loan targets and expanding usage of origination tools.
