Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Home Lending Assistant in New York to support loan processing, customer service, and coordination with Home Lending Advisors. You will handle inquiries, collect applications, and help ensure timely closings while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering a top-notch customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork with realtors, builders, and branch staff, plus proactive management of the loan pipeline to optimize production and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• A minimum of four years’ work experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office or similar).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written/oral communication.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility and maintain quality and productivity when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Take initial inquiries for prequalification, take complete applications and request documentation.
• Discuss products and pricing in coordination with Home Lending Advisors.
• Review complex files with advisors to identify issues before submission.
• Manage pipeline and communicate updates to advisors and borrowers.
• Coordinate submissions and closings with realtors, builders, and branch teams.
• Support marketing to buyers, sellers, realtors and builders and staff open houses.
