Job summary

Amerita is seeking a Registered Nurse - Infusion in Providence to provide one-to-one home infusion care for patients, administering IV therapies and managing vascular access. The role supports multidisciplinary teams and requires driving to patient homes.

The position offers a full-time schedule, with on-call rotation, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Travel to patients’ homes is 100% required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses all patients and establishes the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to infusion nursing, pharmacy services, and state regulations.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering providers, and patients to monitor therapies.
• Completes patient care documentation in home or AIS.
• Manages vascular access devices and lab draws via peripheral venipuncture.
• Educates patients and caregivers; evaluates progress and makes physician recommendations.
• Coordinates nursing care with home health and other community agencies.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
• Completes expense reports and mandatory trainings.
