Job summary

Amerita in Providence, RI is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide home infusion care to our specialty infusion patients in their homes. This role focuses on 1:1 patient care, infusion therapies including IV antibiotics and nutrition support, and other specialty meds.

You will assess patients, develop and monitor the Plan of Care, collaborate with pharmacy staff, manage vascular access, educate caregivers, and participate in on-call rotation. Travel to patients' homes is 100%.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess all patients, establish and implement the plan of care.
• Adhere to infusion, pharmacy services, and state regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, providers, and patients to achieve goals.
• Manage vascular access devices and draw labs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and complete expense reports.
• Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies.
