Job summary

Lowe's Sales Specialists meet customers on the sales floor, helping them identify products and understand features, promotions, and financing options to close sales. You will become a product expert and guide customers from needs assessment to completed purchase.

This role covers multiple departments—Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls—and emphasizes serving customers and driving sales in a fast-paced home

Qualifications

• Must have experience in customer-facing sales or retail.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Act as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department with orders and installations.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors/stores to reorder stock.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintenance of pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
