Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to help customers find the products they need and guide them from project ideas to realization. You’ll be the first point of contact in the store, providing expert product knowledge and exceptional service to achieve sales goals.

You’ll work in a department aligned with needs, such as Appliances, Flooring, or Window & Walls, and participate in a dynamic, customer-focused team environment in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department for estimates, installations, orders, and follow-up.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers across departments.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach around development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
