Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be one of the first faces customers meet, helping them find products and turn project ideas into reality. You will inform customers about specifications, features, and financing options to close sales and provide exceptional consulting services.

You may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls, depending on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Be a point of contact for customers and vendors in your department; provide estimates, schedule visits, track orders, and follow up on completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
