Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will act as a product expert, communicating features, promotions, and financing options to close sales in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, and follow up for completion.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors and stores for stock.
• Perform price reviews and ensure pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned
