Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products in-store. You will become a product expert, explaining specs, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods; lift 25 lbs.
• Sales-related licensure/registration if required by state (Lowe's supports it).
• 1 year of completing customer sales orders and promoting service plans (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, estimating projects, scheduling visits, and tracking orders.
• Support external accounts and outside sales in the Pro Department when applicable.
• Monitor inventory with vendors and stores to maintain stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and serve as a point of assistance.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
