Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products. You’ll become a product expert, explain features, and help close sales while providing excellent service throughout the store and garden center.

You’ll work in a department such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, or Tools, with opportunities for training and career growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe’s products and services.
• Act as a point of contact for customers and vendors in the department, handling estimates, scheduling visits, and tracking orders or installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/store teams to restock merchandise.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout, inquiries, and in-store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
