Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will work in a department aligned with hiring needs and may assist with external accounts in Pro, or other departments as needed. This role emphasizes customer service and problem solving in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with help.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's supports and funds).
• Preferred: 1 year completing customer sales orders; 1 year promoting product-related services; 2 years designing customized products using 20/20 or CAD; professional certification; bilingual skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs, answering questions, and explaining Lowe's product advantages.
• Act as point of contact for customers and vendors within the department, providing estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking orders/installations, and following up on project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales, coordinate with vendors and stores to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions, communications, and requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department on the sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
