Job summary

Lowe's Sales Specialist position in the store involves helping customers find products, discussing project needs, and guiding them from idea to completion. You’ll become a product expert, communicating specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with targets or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Sales licensure/registration if required by state (Lowe’s supports funding).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as a department contact for customers and vendors; provide estimates, schedule installs, and track orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors/stores to restock merchandise.
• Perform pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and departmental communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
