Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide product selection. You will become a product expert, discuss features, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering exceptional service throughout the store and garden center.

You will work in one of several departments based on hiring needs, and collaborate with vendors to satisfy customer requirements and maintain stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing sales or retail sales, with ability to meet sales goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.
• Willingness to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; prepare estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders and follow up for project completion.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores to maintain merchandise and arrange replacements.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Assist with checkout, store pages, and requests for assistance.
• Train department associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
